New Features Improve Case in Point
The ACR’s popular Case in Point allows members to earn free CME while improving their knowledge in specific areas of radiology. This valued member benefit is being improved to provide new features that will enable users to view and search cases by modality or subspecialty. Look for these enhancements coming this week and in the upcoming weeks:
Print and Sort Your CME by Modality or Subspecialty!
Select any of the 24 modalities or subspecialty categories from the drop-down menu on the print page of Case in Point, and your CME “report” will show each case in those individual areas for which you’ve claimed CME. This feature is available now and is great for those seeking modality-specific credit.
In future weeks, this drop-down menu will eventually become a list of only those modalities or subspecialty areas in which you’ve claimed CME. For example, instead of going through each of the categories in the drop-down menu to see if you have CME, you will see a personalized list including only the areas in which you have claimed credit.
Search for Cases by Modality or Subspecialty
Need three extra credits in mammography by tomorrow? Scheduled to launch September 11, this feature will enable you to search for cases by modality or subspecialty. And you won’t have to worry about repeating cases; after completing each case, a marker denoting you’ve already reviewed it and claimed credit will appear next to that case on the search results page.
These new improvements will facilitate the more efficient use of one of the ACR’s most popular continuing education programs as a part of our broad portfolio of education products and services, which you can find online at www.acr.org/4dimensions.
