The American College of Radiology® (ACR®) is asking members to urge their congressional representatives to finish the fiscal year (FY 2024) appropriations process, fund the National Institutes of Health (NIH) base budget at the highest possible level and express how a loss of funding would impact radiology research.
Funding for NIH allows for the continued advancement of scientific discoveries and breakthroughs, improving the lives of patients with a wide spectrum of diseases and disorders, many of whom depend on radiology and imaging tools for prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease.
