ACR VI-RADS

Current Release

Access VI-RADS

VI-RADS, initially established by a diverse group of international experts, standardizes the interpretation of bladder cancer on MRI. The scoring system focuses on defining the likelihood of muscle-invasive bladder cancer visualized on MRI for precise, noninvasive local staging.

The ACR Works in Progress Committee on VI-RADS seeks to assess the current implementation of the VI-RADS scoring system, pinpoint areas for improvement, and outline future developments. Their goal is to enhance the system’s clinical utility by identifying gaps and defining necessary research areas. ACR RADS defined as works in progress are not intended for routine clinical practice until further validated.
