Course Overview
Elevate your expertise in pediatric abdominal imaging with our immersive virtual course. Dive into the most challenging pediatric cases, guided by world-class radiologists who share advanced techniques and insights.
This virtual course is targeted to the general radiologist who is called upon to interpret pediatric abdominal studies in their practice. The course also provides practicing radiologists with the skills and understanding necessary to interpret pediatric cases of the abdomen.
Note: Virtual courses are not compatible with tablets (specifically iPads).
At the conclusion of this course, you will be able to:
- Understand acute abdominal conditions and identify normal developmental variants that mimic pathology.
- Review challenges encountered in pediatric radiology practice and offer practical solutions in the following areas: Radiation, IV/oral contrast, child life techniques, sedation as well as communication with parents and referring physicians.
