Standardized Tool for the Assessment of Radiology Students (STARS)
Web-based question database designed for medical students.
The Standardized Tool for the Assessment of Radiology Students (STARS) is a joint initiative by the Alliance of Medical Student Educators in Radiology (AMSER) and the American College of Radiology® (ACR®). It offers medical schools a national, web-based database of question items and an exam system designed to assess students' performance throughout their radiology courses.
Instructors have the flexibility to design and administer their web-based exams using a comprehensive bank of multiple-choice questions, or they can choose from exams created and vetted by AMSER. The STARS editorial committee is responsible for reviewing and refining the questions as well as developing standardized exams.
