Sept. 17, 2024

Physicians who participated in the 2023 Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) can now review their final MIPS score. Participants in the MIPS program should login to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Quality Payment Program website to view performance feedback.

If participants note any discrepancies in their 2023 MIPS score, they have until Oct. 11, 8pm ET, to request a targeted review. The targeted review process allows MIPS clinicians and groups to request a reevaluation of MIPS scoring data. This application can be completed by logging in to the Quality Payment Program website and selecting the “Targeted Review” tab on the navigation bar. For more information, review the 2023 Targeted Review Guide from CMS.

If you have questions about your 2023 MIPS score or about the targeted review process, contact Zach Smith, American College of Radiology® Senior Quality Programs Specialist.
