The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is requesting stakeholder feedback on a proposed revision to a regulatory guide that describes methods for releasing patients from the hospital following nuclear medicine and radiation oncology procedures in accordance with NRC regulations. The public comment period will close June 20.

The American College of Radiology® (ACR®) is currently reviewing the proposed changes and soliciting expert feedback. To provide technical input for inclusion in ACR’s future comments, please contact Michael Peters, Senior Government Affairs Director.
