Clinical Implementation
Value PropositionIdentification of pulmonary artery and pulmonary trunk dimensions could be fundamental in patients with congenital heart disease or acquired disease.
Patients with acquired or congenital heart disease can show pulmonary trunk, and pulmonary artery enlargement.
Narrative(s)
Patients with suspicious or known heart disease undergo cardiac CT. AI algorithm identifies the caliber of pulmonary arteries. After evaluation of indexed dimensions, the algorithm automatically inserts the dimensions of pulmonary arteries in the report, specifying if the vessels are enlarged or reduced.
Workflow Description
CCTA acquisition are sent automatically to PACS or post-processing software. Images will be rapidly evaluated by the software and the results appended to report.
Considerations for Dataset Development

CT acquisition | CT images will be acquired with and without contrast (eg calcium score acquisition). |
Sex at Birth | Male, Female |
Age | [0,90] |
Cardiac phase acquisition | Images will be carefully evaluated based on different cardiac phase acquisition. |
Breath Artifacts | absent, present |
