Learning Objectives
After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:

1. Recognize key leadership and practice management skills to enhance the value-based care of radiology.
2. Discuss health policy trends impacting the radiology healthcare field and how technology is creating new opportunities to analyze and share information.
3. Identify the key legislative issues that affect the radiology profession and the tools available to ACR members for advocating on behalf of radiology.
4. Outline critical regulatory information on procedures and guidelines to enhance the practice of radiology.
5. Understand how radiology practices have become increasingly consolidated over time and how practices and institutions are adapting to these changes and workforce shortage challenges.

The American College of Radiology is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit Designation Statement
The American College of Radiology designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Description:
This two-part forum moderated by Gregory Nicola, MD, FACR, and Christoph Wald, MD, PhD, MBA, FACR will highlight recent regulatory wins for the radiology specialty, including updates for CT colonoscopy, new MRI safety codes, and RUC and CPT activities. Description:
Radiology practice consolidation has been increasing over time according to recent national workforce surveys. In this session, ACR leaders will set the stage with an overview of the current state of the radiology workforce and the ongoing consolidation in medicine and then facilitate discussion with attendees through a series of prompts, live polling, and open-ended questions. Attendees will have an opportunity to discuss the benefits and challenges of their current practice type, hear perspectives from others, and understand how evolving consolidation might impact their current practice and radiological patient care.
