This three-day neuroradiology course for practicing radiologists includes the four domains of neuroradiology in brain, spine, head and neck, and pediatric neuroimaging.
Course Overview
Elevate your expertise across all four key domains of neuroradiology: brain, spine, head and neck and pediatric neuroimaging. This course focuses exclusively on advanced CT and MR imaging techniques, covering a wide range of conditions including vascular, inflammatory, demyelinating, traumatic, degenerative, neoplastic, congenital and metabolic diseases in both adults and children.
Daily lectures will introduce essential themes for differential diagnoses, setting the stage for an in-depth, case-based review. With a vast library of cases spanning various difficulty levels and disease types, you will be able to tailor your learning experience by selecting cases in specific subspecialties to strengthen areas of need.
At the conclusion of this course, you will be able to:
- Provide limited relevant differential diagnoses for masses in different regions of the brain, spine and head and neck.
- Prioritize imaging studies and provide pertinent imaging features that will guide therapy in patients with strokes or other vascular lesions of the brain or spine.
- Correctly utilize the terms accepted by the American Society of Neuroradiology for describing degenerative spondylotic disease of the cervical and lumbar spine.
- List imaging features that help clinicians provide accurate TNM staging of head and neck cancers.
- Differentiate among the many causes of sensorineural and conductive hearing loss through neuroimaging.
- List features that distinguish the various cysts of the head and neck.

This is the most useful course I've ever attended. The combination of interpreting actual cases at a workstation with a broad spectrum of pathology, and the opportunity to directly communicate with the expert faculty for their approach to different cases, will allow me to apply what I've learned. It goes above and beyond any didactic conference and is more high-yield than any short visiting fellowship.
