Massachusetts Radiological Society

About Us

The Massachusetts Radiological Society, Inc. (MRS), founded in 1965 and incorporated in 1969, serves as a statewide association for radiologists, radiation oncologists, physicists and radiology residents.

MRS focuses on advocating for its members’ socio-economic interests and providing continuing education for radiologists and their patients in Massachusetts. The Society regularly evaluates regulatory issues affecting both patients and the radiology profession.

With more than 1,200 members, including residents and fellows, MRS aligns its mission with the ACR's goals: advancing radiology science, enhancing services for patients and the medical community, studying radiology economics, promoting ongoing education for radiologists and upholding high medical and ethical standards in practice.
