The Distinguished Achievement Award is awarded by the BOC in recognition of highly notable service to the College and the profession, or in recognition of other action or achievement that reflects in a uniquely favorable manner on the College and the profession at the national level.

Applications are now being accepted for the Chapter Recognition Awards. The Chapter Recognition Awards were created by the ACR in 2003 to acknowledge the College’s various chapters and their success, achievements and innovative ideas. Applications can be submitted for any achievements made in the calendar year of 2024 and can be made in four categories: Meetings and Education, Quality and Safety, Government Relations and Membership.

The Radiology Leadership Institute® (RLI) annually recognizes outstanding contributions in radiology through three prestigious awards: the new Philips Emerging Leaders RLI Scholarship for 10 promising residents or fellows, the RLI Impact in Leadership Award for an individual whose involvement in an RLI course or program significantly contributed to the successful execution of a project or initiative within their practice or institution, and the RLI Leadership Luminary Award for an individual whose leadership qualities and innovative spirit has made a lasting impact on the field. Applicants must secure at least one letter of recommendation and submit it with their completed applications by Friday, Feb. 7. Winners will be announced at the 2025 ACR Annual Meeting in May and honored at the RLI Summit, Sept. 26–28.

Join the ACR Medical Student Section’s Medical Student Symposium, a one-day virtual experience organized by medical students on Jan. 25, 2025. Throughout the day, you will explore the field of radiology and hear from radiologists from different specialties, a program director panel and much more. There will also be a case competition with prizes, and students are encouraged to submit presentations that showcase unique radiology cases related to the “Rarities.”
