ACR-AMSER-APDR Lecture Series For LCME (ED-24) Requirement

The ACR Committee on Government and Regulatory Issues in Academic Radiology, in cooperation with the Alliance of Medical Student Educators in Radiology (AMSER) and the Association of Program Directors in Radiology (APDR) developed this compendium of short, online, open-source training modules that can be used to fulfill the new LCME (ED-24) standard requirements.

This lecture series features recognized experts in the area of pedagogical training in radiology. Topics were selected to cover a broad range of teaching methods and tools and are applicable both for radiology residents as well as residents from other medical specialties. We welcome use of this free resource by any residents or residency training programs that might find it useful, and we thank the speakers and staff for sharing their time and talent to bring this project to fruition.

Note to program directors

As you know, the LCME standard also includes a requirement for evaluating residents’ understanding of the material. To this end, each speaker supplied four sample test questions to use in assessing residents’ comprehension of the material. To request a copy of the sample test questions and answers, please send a signed request including your name, title, and official contact information, printed on your department letterhead, to gromanelli@acr.org.
