Call for Abstract Reviewers

The American College of Radiology invites you to serve on the Abstract Review Committee. This is a two-year term in which you will be a part of ensuring abstract content is of high quality for ACR’s Annual Meeting in 2024 and 2025.

Each abstract will have at least three reviews, each taking five to ten minutes. The total number of abstracts you will review will depend on the number of abstracts submitted.  An online peer-review database streamlines the process using a rating, there is no substantial free text required.

We received over 140 abstract submissions for the 2023 meeting, so we are looking for at least 85 Abstract Reviewers for 2024 & 2025.  (Abstract Reviewers must have completed training and residency).

There are five categories for submissions:

  1. Advocacy, Economics, and Health Policy
  2. Training and Education
  3. Informatics and Data Science
  4. Leadership and Practice Management
  5. Quality and Safety

The online review site will be open for approximately three weeks, beginning mid-December through mid-January.

Reviewers play a critical role in ACR’s Annual Meeting, we appreciate your time and consideration to recognize the outstanding work of radiologists and trainees.
