Did you know?

Dr. Moore and his wife, Marie celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this past November. Together, they have two children, Kimberly and Andrew, and one grandchild, Ember. Outside of work, Dr. Moore enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and traveling to new places. Paris has always been a favorite place to visit but high on their list right now is Antarctica. Also among his favorites, Dr. Moore and his wife enjoy French and Mediterranean cuisines rich with great culinary histories, and for Dr. Moore, a good cup of coffee is always a treat and has been a favorite since his early days in the Navy.

Prior to a career in radiology, Dr. Moore considered nuclear medicine but wanted more patient interaction, and also considered orthopedics, a form of hands-on practical engineering and problem solving. Radiology and interventional radiology turned out to be the perfect niche for a former engineer. Coming into radiology when CT and MR were literally in their infancies was a terrific opportunity, and IR experienced explosive growth as well.
