Participants in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) 2020 Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) have until Nov. 29, 8pm ET, to request a targeted review of their MIPS performance score. CMS extended the request deadline after it identified two issues that affected overall 2020 MIPS performance scores.
While it is unlikely that the issues have strongly affected most 2020 MIPS scores, the American College of Radiology® (ACR®) recommends members review their scores in the CMS Quality Payment Program portal.

CMS also announced it will allow MIPS participants to request performance category reweighting for COVID-19-related Extreme and Uncontrollable Circumstances via the 2020 targeted review form.
