Get Involved with CARROS

Ways to Get Involved as a CARROS Member
  • Serve as a representative to the CARROS Board of Representatives (all ACR chapters and recognized regional radiation oncology societies are asked to appoint a representative and an alternate)
  • Serve on a CARROS standing committee (constitution and bylaws, fellowship and nominating)
  • Serve on a CARROS committee (EDI, Membership & Communications, Government Relations, Education, Quality & Safety)
  • Volunteer for an ACR committee
  • Attend a CARROS meeting (held at the annual meetings of ACR and ASTRO)

Other opportunities to participate:


  • Respond to e-mail inquiries and calls-to-action (from CARROS and ACR)
  • Comment on Draft Practice Parameters and Technical Standards
  • Offer suggestions or contribute to ongoing discussions about issues relevant to the practice of radiation oncology
  • Participate in grassroots initiatives (i.e., issues that directly affect the primary clinical practice of radiation oncology)
