HHS Reaffirms Final Date for Expenditure of PRF Funds
On March 31, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) updated its Provider Relief Fund (PRF) FAQs document. Notably, HHS has reaffirmed that funds must be expended no later than June 30, 2021, and that HHS will soon provide information on how to return unused funds. HHS is authorized to audit PRF recipients now or in the future to ensure that requirements are met. Get more information on PRF reporting and auditing, and see the HHS CARES Act Provider Relief Fund page.
