Today there are 54 chapters, representing each of the United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Canada and the Council of Affiliated Regional Radiation Oncology Societies.
The main activities of the chapter are the annual chapter meeting, the ACR Annual Meeting in Washington, DC, and political activities. Elections are held in the spring, with rotation of chapter officers taking place after the ACR Annual Meeting.
