The American College of Radiology® (ACR®), American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) and American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) announced further action Feb. 9, filing a motion for summary judgement in their lawsuit against the federal government for its implementation of the No Surprises Act. The ACR argues that the interim final rule threatens patient access to care by narrowing networks, undermining the balanced and fair reforms of Congress’ No Surprises Act.
The ACR website provides more details about its suit to block parts of the rule implementing the No Surprises Act while leaving patient protections intact.
