The American College of Radiology® (ACR®) has partnered with the American Medical Association (AMA) to create advocacy resources for physicians and patients to fight back against non-physician scope of practice expansion.
The College is proud to provide this scope of practice (SOP) patient card to ACR members and the patients they serve. The card, which also comes in wallet form, was created to empower patients to ask questions about who is providing their care.
Scope of practice is one of the leading issues that are addressed by state legislatures. To stay current on state legislative developments relevant to radiology, view the ACR policy map and ACR resources about scope of practice. The ACR has also partnered with Fiscal Note, a legislation and regulation tracking service, to provide continuous, comprehensive developments relevant to radiology.
