The American College of Radiology® (ACR®) sent a letter to the National Academy of Medicine (NAM) last week about its draft report and recommendations on Clinician Well-Being and Resilience. The ACR supported the majority of the report with many other medical specialty groups, with one major exception: a recommendation that could allow scope of practice expansion for non-physicians. The ACR requested NAM remove the recommendation from its report.
If you have any questions about the NAM recommendation and the ACR response or scope of practice issues, please contact Dillon Harp, ACR Senior State Government Relations Specialist.
