The American College of Radiology® (ACR®) State Government Relations staff in 2022 launched a Resident Advocacy 101 program to educate radiology residents about how to become involved in advocating for patients and the profession. The program has reached more than 160 residents at nine different radiology residency programs.
Resident Advocacy 101, a one-day virtual or in-person session, is led by ACR government relations staff and state radiological society leaders. The program features presentations explaining how to get involved in both state and federal advocacy.
Program directors and state chapter leaders interested in bringing this program to residents in your state can reach out to Dillon Harp, ACR Senior Government Relations Specialist.
