The American College of Radiology® (ACR®) seeks neuroradiology experts to complete the face validity survey for the quality measure, Stenosis Measurement in Carotid Imaging Reports, adopted by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services' Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) Quality Performance Category. Face validity analysis assesses whether a quality measure accurately measures its intended concept, thereby achieving its intended purpose.
The Stenosis Measurement in Carotid Imaging Reports quality measure aims to improve care by ensuring that clinicians include the accurate measurement assessment of carotid artery stenosis, essential to guiding proper treatment decisions for patients with carotid artery disease. The face validity survey consists of one question inquiring how well the quality measure’s definition and specifications appear to capture the aspect of care or healthcare quality. The survey should take about three minutes to complete.
Please complete the survey online. Responses will be accepted until Monday, Nov. 30.
