The American College of Radiology® (ACR®) is partnering with the American Cancer Society National Lung Cancer Roundtable, the Radiology Health Equity Coalition and Go2 for Lung Cancer on National Lung Cancer Screening Day. The organizations urge facilities to participate Nov. 9, in this annual event, held to increase screening access for people who cannot get screened during the week.
National Lung Cancer Screening Day has the support of The President’s Cancer Panel, which encourages screening centers, hospital systems, clinicians, public health professionals, cancer coalitions and patient advocates to come together as a community to promote and communicate the value of lung cancer screening.
