The American College of Radiology Association® (ACRA®) Radiology Advocacy Network (RAN) has issued a call-to-action (CTA) requesting all American College of Radiology® (ACR®) members urge their lawmaker in the U.S. House of Representatives to co-sponsor H.R. 8800, the Supporting Medicare Providers Act of 2022
The legislation partially mitigates upcoming provider-wide Medicare reimbursement reductions by adding an additional 4.42% to the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (MPFS) conversion factor (CF) for 2023.
ACR members have already sent nearly 2,000 letters to their House members. If you have not already done so, please contact your House member to support H.R. 8800 here.
Last week, an ACR-led coalition of more than 100 provider organizations representing more than one million physician and non-physician providers sent a letter to Reps. Ami Bera, MD (D-CA) and Larry Bucshon, MD (R-IN), thanking them for introducing H.R. 8800.
If you have any questions about H.R. 8800, please contact Rebecca Spangler, ACR Senior Government Affairs Director. If you need assistance with the CTA or an advocacy-related issue, please contact Melody Ballesteros, ACR Assistant Director, Government Relations.
