ACR Data Science Institute Upgrades AI Central Portal
"One Stop” for Information on FDA-cleared Radiology and Imaging AI Products
The newly upgraded American College of Radiology® (ACR®) Data Science Institute® (ACR DSI) “AI Central” portal provides easy-to-access, comprehensive and up-to-date information regarding U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-cleared radiology and medical imaging AI products.
“Given the rapid growth of AI solutions in the market, the AI Central editorial board and staff continuously review publicly-available FDA data, vendor information and physician feedback to provide radiology, informatics and AI professionals with up-to-date, detailed information to make informed purchasing decisions,” said Keith J. Dreyer, DO, PhD, FACR, ACR DSI Chief Science Officer.
The ACR DSI urges radiology and AI professionals to bookmark the updated portal, check back regularly to see newly added algorithms, and email DSI@acr.org to contribute information about FDA-cleared AI algorithms not yet listed.
