Abstract Art
In my semi-retirement, I have become interested in transferring my long-term fascination with color flow Doppler imaging to working with vibrant shades of color to create abstract art. I currently share an art studio at Mid-City Art Studios in New Orleans and also have a radiology workstation in my home. This is a major change from focusing on diagnostic ultrasound as a full-time radiologist.
I now consider how to market my paintings instead of worrying about whether journals will accept my submitted articles. My interest in painting is to express my views regarding the complexities and difficulties of the interpersonal interactions we all face in the modern world. I also aim to emphasize the common stresses and unifying features that connect us all. Please visit my website to see more examples of my work.
