In this episode we speak with Efren Flores, MD. Dr. Flores practices radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital, where he serves as Officer, Community Health Improvement and Equity on MGH’s Radiology Equity and Community Health Response Team. As part of this team, he works to address health equity issues in the Boston area, particularly those related to COVID-19. Dr. Flores is also an Assistant Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School. Zooming in on the health challenges facing lower income residents of the greater Boston area, Dr. Flores provides strategies for ensuring better health outcomes for underserved communities.
