ACR Practice Parameters and Technical Standards

At ACR 2024, the ACR Council approved 75 resolutions, including 33 policies, 11 bylaws as well as 36 revised and two new PP&TS, including:

  • ACR–ASNR–SIR–SNIS practice parameter for the performance of endovascular thrombectomy and revascularization in acute stroke (available by Sept. 1).
  • ACR–ABS–ACNM–ARS–SIR–SNMMI practice parameter for selective internal radiation therapy or radioembolization for treatment of liver malignancies (available by Sept. 1).
  • ACR–SABI–SAR practice parameter for the performance of magnetic resonance imaging of the prostate (available by Sept. 1).
  • ACR-AAPM technical standard for diagnostic interpretation displays (currently available and effective July 1).
