Breast MRI Accreditation
With the launch of ACRedit Plus, the standalone breast MRI accreditation program is moving to the MRI accreditation program. Facilities looking to renew or apply for breast MRI accreditation can find details, forms and documents under the breast MRI modality.Ultrasound Accreditation
Below are highlights of updates made within the ultrasound accreditation program with the launch of ACRedit Plus:
- Sites will no longer submit physician reports.
- Sites will be required to complete a Test Image Data sheet.
- Removed the following exams:
- Shoulder.
- Bypass Graft/Stent.
- Vein Mapping.
- Thrombosis-Upper Extremities.
- Liver Transplantation.
- TIPS.
- Renal Vein Thrombosis.
- Renal Transplant.
- Inferior Vena Cava.
- Intussusception.
- Exams added to the Pediatric module include Neonatal/Infant Spine.
- New exam titles:
- 1st Trimester Transvaginal (formerly Endovaginal).
- Lower Extremities — Venous (formerly Thrombosis-Lower Extremities).
- Lower Extremities — Venous Insufficiency (formerly Incompetence).
- Lower Extremities – Arterial Duplex (formerly Arterial Occlusive Disease — Lower Extremities).
- Extracranial Carotid (formerly Bilateral Duplex Carotid).
- Abdomen Complete (formerly Complete Upper Abdominal).
- Scrotal (formerly Scrotum).
- Neonatal/Infant Neurosonology (formerly Pediatric Neurosonology).
- Neonatal/Infant Hip (formerly Pediatric Hip).
Nuclear Medicine and PET
Below are highlights of updates made within the nuclear medicine and PET accreditation program with the launch of ACRedit Plus:
- Sites will no longer submit physician reports.
- Sites are now required to complete a Test Image Data Sheet.
- Exams added to the NM Planar module include Renal, Breast and Gastric Emptying.
- Exams added to the NM SPECT module include Parathyroid and MIBG SPECT.
- The myocardial perfusion study will be removed from the NM SPECT module.
