Join host Geoffrey Rubin, MD, MBA, FACR, as he talks with Jacqueline A. Bello, MD, FACR, Director of Neuroradiology at Montefiore, Professor of Radiology and Neurosurgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Chair of the Board of Chancellors of the American College of Radiology (ACR).
Dr. Bello completed medical school at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center followed by a fellowship in Neuroradiology at the Neurological Institute, Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center.
As one of seven children, Dr. Bello learned early on how to build consensus and trust – qualities that have proved invaluable throughout her leadership journey. From freshman class president to captain of the cheerleading squad to attending Dartmouth College in its first year of co-education, she has consistently embodied these principles which have propelled her to a variety of national leadership roles across a number of professional organizations including president of the American Society of Neuroradiology, past president of NY Roentgen Society and NY State Radiological Society, fellow of NY Academy of Medicine, and former Montefiore Medical Staff President to name a few.
In her most recent role, as Chair of the Board of Chancellors for the ACR, Dr. Bello is focused on creating unity of purpose with the same leadership principles that she has honed over her career -- trust and transparency – which according to her, are the two most important ingredients when it comes to success in leadership.
You won’t want to miss this inspirational conversation about the importance of family, finding common ground and leading with trust.
